HC2 Fundamental Classes

Fundamentals

HC2 Fundamentals Program is our exciting introduction to the world of exercise, nutrition, weight-lifting, and functional movement. Each person’s Fundamental path for joining our programs is based on meeting you where you are now, as well as your budget and goals. You and your coach will determine your exact session plan at your first meeting.

You’ll be participating in either one on one or small group classes utilizing HC2 methodologies, focusing on bodyweight movements and light weight implements. We’ll teach you the basics, focusing on proper technique, and you’ll get a kick ass workout too. Each session with your coach will also emphasize healthy, easy nutritional guidance and coaching, based on your goals and lifestyle

Fundamentals graduation is required for everyone and graduation is based on your ability/readiness for entry to our exciting group classes.

What to Expect

Each session a coach will teach and demonstrate the foundational movements we use at Harbor City Community Fitness, as well as review range of motion and various scales to get you moving safely. Following the instruction portion of the class, you will participate in a coach-led group class workout. You will get sweaty and you will have fun!

Once you are competent in the movements we use daily at HC2, you may graduate to our regular group classes and get the full HC2 experience!
