Harbor City CrossFit is a great place to work out. I have been working out there for 4 1/2 months now since my orthopedic doctor referred me there because of my knees. I did personal training for 6 weeks with Mike, and he prepared me for the group classes. I have been in group classes for 3 months, and I am getting stronger every day. I have been coached by all the coaches at some point, and with each one I come away learning a little more or getting a little better on my lifts. The coaches pride themselves in making sure that you are always using proper technique to avoid injury. Since my knees are really bad, some of the workouts need to be scaled or modified to include exercises that I can do. The coaches are always right there to help me find the right modification for me. I cannot thank Harbor City CrossFit (HC2) enough for all they have done to help me on my journey to a new, healthy lifestyle.
